~OS: Destined to be~
Naina glowered as she watched the fawning display of affection in public on the adjacent table. As she fumbled with the lid of the tiffin housing the uneaten tinde and parantha, her appetite lost since the day she lost the love of her life; she saw Sameer breaking a piece of a piping hot samosa. He blew over the morsel to cool it and then lunged forward to feed Sunaina, apparently the new love of his life.
"Slam! His attention wavered to the corner table at the steel tiffin lying on the ground and Naina looking at them with horror in her eyes. Satisfied, a facetious smile hovered on his lips as he eyed his ex-girlfriend, looking gorgeous in that orange saree, though on the verge of tears.
He turned his attention back to Sunaina, while Naina slowly stooped down to pick up the tiffin. With great effort to ignore Sameer's gambit, she opened her tiffin and eyed the food.
"Sameer! Yeh lo! Cold drink piyo na! Sunaina's shrill voice poked him out of his reverie. Sameer saw her pointing to the bottle from which she'd been sipping Mangola minutes ago. She wanted to share the drink with him? Eww! The thought made him convulse with disgust. But then his eyes flicked towards Naina and he put on his most winning smile.
"Of course Sunaina! Tumhara jhootha kaun nahi peena chahega! And you know what...jhootha khane se pyaar badhta hai! he explained as he bent on the table, his eyes flitting at her.
"Ohh Sameer! You're so sweet! Sunaina was lost in his eyes and Sameer breathed with respite at having brought time. Somehow he couldn't bring himself to put that bottle, which was tainted with Sunaina's lipgloss, to his mouth.
"Sunaina! Tum na bahot achi ho...kitni sundar ho...how attractive! he declared, in an unsually louder tone. His eyes darted over to Naina, convincing himself of the effect, and then back to Sunaina as he continued.
"And the best part is...you're so bold...mujhe aisi hi ladkiyaan pasand hai jinme himmat hoti hai...agar kuch paane ki sochi to darpok ki tarah bhaagti nahi! Unlike some behenjis you know! he voiced, smugly, knowing the taunts were reaching the ears they were meant for.
"Plus...look at the way you dress! So stylish! Varna aajkal to ladkiyon ka koi class hi nahi! Imagine log college me saree pehen ke aate hain! he laughed, as Sunaina tittered, stealing glances at Naina.
"Kuch zyada hi bol raha hai Sameer! Pandit whispered to Munna, who nodded in agreement.
"Acha Su darling! Film dekhne chalein kya? he proposed in a flattering tone. "English film dekhne chalte hain...maine kabse koi English movie nahi dekhi you know...Ahemdabad mein aadhe logon ko English samajh nahi aati to English films kya khaak samajh aayengi!
Sunaina chortled, while Munna shot Sameer an indignant look. Sameer bit his tongue. He'd meant to hurt Naina, but had ended up hurting his entire batch.
Naina had been listening in silence, knowing fully well, he meant to castigate her. It was his way of getting back at her for dumping him. She'd always been possessive about him- right from when he entered their school and Kamya had been blabbering about an S in her hand, implying she would wed Sameer.  She'd made sure she rapped Kamya at that. And that was when Sameer had hardly spoken to her. Now that they'd been in a relationship for years, the mere sight of any girl even eyeing him casually, was enough to drive Naina insane.
But nothing that she'd experienced till now, compared to the pain she felt when she saw Sameer drooling over another chick, holding her hands, getting cozy with her. She'd half a mind to get up and jerk him away from her, but she knew she'd herself forgone the right to do so. She no more had any claim over Sameer or his love.
As tears threatened to tickle her eyes, she snapped the lid of the tiffin back, pushing it towards the gang and left from there. Sameer was sure he heard sobs as she left and his heart, despite not wanting to, ached.
The rest of the gang too stood up, tired of Sameer's taunts and Naina's misery. As they all made for the door of the caf, Munna came back to Sameer, his eyes clearly reflecting his disappointment at him. Sameer tried to speak up, to apologize, but at that moment, Munna grabbed the Mangola bottle on the table and poured the contents right over Sameer's head.
Sunaina gasped, Sameer gaped, startled. Munna thumped the bottle down and left without a word. As Sameer saw his friends leaving his side, mortification and resentment poured down his silky locks onto his face.
***
Two days later, Sameer got wind of the news that Sharad had broken off the marriage with Naina. It had been related to some disrespect he'd shown towards her and her family and that some issues of dowry had inadvertently crept up. Sameer tried to feel indifferent, yet his heart brimmed with elation, with anger and with regret. He'd come to know that Naina had had no say in the proposal. He was still mad at her for she had not even tried to own up to her love for him, which he doubted even existed now.
Sameer hung out with Sunaina, more so in places, where they would be conspicuous enough, so that Naina would burn with jealousy and regret seeing that he's moved on. Sunaina had more than once offered to drop by to his home, and Sameer had had to cook up excuses for her not to do so. He didn't know why, though he was definitely trying to move on with Sunaina, he never felt at ease around her. He couldn't pinpoint it, but something held him back everytime. He was uncomfomfortable with the way she grabbed his hands, gave him hugs in public; and add to that in less than a week of their relationship, she'd even tried to kiss him. Sameer had been horror-struck at that moment and had wriggled out of the situation with great difficulty, for Sunaina had been too persistent. Although any other guy would've traded his soul to be in his position right then, Sameer felt nothing but revulsion at the thought of her lips touching his own. And it hadn't been that way with Naina. He remembered how desperate he'd been to touch her, to hug her, to peck her cheeks at least, but Naina had always been too morally upright.
"You need time Sameer! That's what it is! You need time to feel the same way for Sunaina! he placated himself.
As soon as he'd decided that, however, life played another trick upon them. Kartik, infuriated by the fact that Sunaina had ditched him for Sameer was thinking of ways to get back at him. He was evil, he was ruthless, he was dishonest, but he was definitely not stupid. He knew that the way to Sameer's misery and his victory, led through Naina. And it was Naina he sought to conquer now.
Naina had been sobbing hard at her misfortune- why couldn't she be brave enough, like Shefali was. She had to follow her elder brother's lead. If she'd shown an iota of courage, she'd would have had Sameer moving mountains to wed her. But now, she'd lost her golden chance. She'd lost Sameer. Her Sameer!
So absorbed was she in reflecting upon the tragedy of her life, she didn't realize a figure thud on the bench besides her. Her eyes strayed up and found Kartik glassy-eyed, in a daze. A minute later, he turned to look at her and their eyes understood the other's pain. He too would have seen Sunaina trying to kiss Sameer. Naina didn't know whether to feel elated at the fact that Sameer had jumped away from her, or to feel dejected that one day, maybe a few minutes from now, he would inevitably give her what Naina had always thought belonged to her.
A fresh burst of tears escaped her eyes and she covered her face, sobbing hard. Kartik looked at her for a moment, then fished out his handkerchief and extended it towards her.
"Ye lo..aansu poch lo! he mumbled. The handkerchief further brought out her moments with Sameer to her mind and she sobbed harder.
"Tum ab bhi Sameer se pyaar karti ho? he asked all of a sudden. Naina looked up amidst her tears. "Wo kissa khatam ho chukka hai Kartik. Main tumhari koi maddad nahi kar sakti!
"Khud ki to kar sakti ho...meri bhi ho jayegi shayad! he snapped. "Matlab? she squeaked.
"Friends? he extended his hand.
"Tum aur main kabhi dost nahi ho sakte! Naina snapped irritatedly.
"Koshish to kar sakte hain na? he queried.
"Kyun? Kartik dekho tum jao yahan se...mera dimag pehle se hi bahot kharab hai! Naina slammed.
"Toh mera kya acha hai? Wahan meri Sunaina tumhare hero ko kiss kar rahi hai! he shouted.
"Kya? Naina's eyes widened in horror as visuals of Sameer and Sunaina locking lips flashed before her eyes.
"Dekha tha use aaj...koshish karte huye...shayad kar bhi liya hoga! Kartik voiced through clenched teeth and kicked his foot at the ground beneath.
A few moments of silence elapsed between the two and then Kartik handed out his hanky again. She hesitated for a minute, then accepted it gratefully.
"Tumhara gham, mera gham ek hi hai...! he sighed.
Naina looked at him. He definitely seemed lost. He was going through the exact turmoil she was going through, what Sameer had gone through when she'd betrayed him. But he'd moved on. Sameer had moved on! A sudden surge of unexplained anger engulfed her senses. "Friends? she held her hand out.
Kartik smiled finally. And then shook her hand. "Friends!
Naina! His Naina- befriending that Kartik came as a shocker for him, when the next day he saw that Kartik and Priyank had joined what had once been his gang of friends. And this when Sameer had been outcast by them all.
He clenched his teeth as he saw his friends happily chatting with Kartik and Priyank. He heard the duo apologizing for the theft during the freshers party, and the animosity they'd harboured against each other all this while. However, the thing which irked him was how comfortably Kartik had settled himself on the chair besides Naina, and how she, did not seem to mind at all.
Over the next few days, Sameer found himself completely forgotten by his gang. Even his desperate attempts to seek attention, his taunts went unheeded. To add fuel to the fire, he came across Naina helping Kartik and Priyank in Accounts, so much so, she didn't mind sitting nestled in between them both in class.
"Sameer! Aaj Law Garden chalein date pe? Sunaina prompted. "Sure sweetheart! he announced louder than expected. And his eyes wavered to Naina, he was surprised to see that she hadn't even noticed.
He responded by sitting close to Sunaina, much closer than was expected, but still he failed to gather a reaction from anyone. Even Kamya, who'd been ready to pounce upon him a year or so back, didn't seem as interested in him any longer- not even to strike a casual conversation. Kartik had all that Sameer had, and in addition, he was their friend now and Sameer wasn't.
Sameer couldn't have been grumpier when he jerked his bike to a halt outside Law Garden. Sunaina was too busy in fishing out trinklets, and fashion accessories to notice Sameer was lost. Half an hour of roaming around, which seemed a burden to Sameer, considering he felt no need to get close to Sunaina now that college was over for the day.
"Sameer! You love Sunaina! You hate Naina! he reiterated to himself, blocking his thoughts heading in the other direction. He braced himself up and put his arm around Sunaina, who looked at him with honeyed eyes but was back to her shopping the next instant.
Frustrated at the lack of attention from anyone, Sameer excused himself for a while and trot towards the cigarette stall. "Ab to Naina ki koi pabandi nahi na! Jee bhar ke cigarette piyunga! he decided.
As he was purchasing a cigarette, he saw Sunaina eyeing him. He froze, fearing her dejection at him smoking, but she merely winked at him and gave a flying kiss, ignoring the cigarette in his mouth. He lit it hesitantly, and waited for her reaction. Minutes later as she came stumbling towards him, with bags full of clothes she'd just purchased, he expected her to reprimand him. But she didn't seem to be particularly bothered about him smoking.
Finally, unable to resist, he pointed the question at her, "Sunaina! Are you okay if I smoke?
"What kind of a question is that Sameer...tumhari life hai...do as you please...main tumse thodi puchti hun mujhe kya karna chahiye ki nahi...and anyways, smoking makes a man look hotter! she winked again and looped her arm around his, "my bad guy!
As they were walking towards the stands hand-in-hand, Sameer noticed two familiar figures in the corner, puffing their lungs out. And before he could digest that it was indeed them, he heard the voice he'd once found the most melodious in the whole world. And still did. "Kartik! Priyank! Dhumrapan se kark rog hota hai! Naina hollered at them and like two naughty kids caught in the act, they froze.
"Naina yaar! Hindi mein bola kar na tu! Kartik pleaded. "Chup kar! she snapped as she pulled the cigarettes from both their mouths. "Chup kar? Sameer thought incredulously. She'd never been so informal with him too. Ever! And how dare that dolt snatch his lines! They were his and Naina's little conversation. Though Naina didn't even seem to remember it, he realized despondently.
He felt himself being dragged away from the scene by Sunaina, who'd spotted a dress nearby- but not before he observed his gang frolicking in the distance and Kartik, Priyank and Naina strolling back towards them. Sameer couldn't help but note the gentle manner in which Kartik was peering at Naina as they walked. And it didn't sit right with him. It was exactly like the way he used to eye her.
The next few days, Sameer forgot all about his misery, his pain, and the need to shower attention to his new girlfriend as he saw Kartik getting close to Naina. He could see it, for he was no fool.
He writhed with envy when he found his group of friends, especially Naina, humming to the tunes Kartik played on his guitar, in the college lawns after class. And very soon, he got the shock of his life, when he heard someone tapping at the desk twice. With some unexplained joy, he turned hopefully towards Naina, only to be brought down to the Earth, when he heard the response from the desk in front of him. Kartik looked sideways at Naina and gave her a cheesy grin and tapped the desk twice, which Naina returned.
And then the day he saw Naina fall to the ground and twist her ankle in a freak accident, he'd been urged to run upto her. But stopped in the nick of time. But he needn't have botherd, because Kartik dashed at that exact moment and held his hand out for her. Naina eyed him gratefully as she gave her hands in his and the ground beneath Sameer slipped away several notches. Alarmed, he saw how easily Naina's hand was nestled in Kartik's and then when he pulled her up, he flung her arm around her shoulder to support the limping Naina on her way to the doctor.
"Sameer! Sameer! Sunaina's voice fell on deaf ears and Sameer walked out in fury and slammed his leg on the stacked cycles in the parking lot. "She can be with anyone but me! I hate you Naina! he was smouldering by what he'd seen.
But the worst was to come days later, when he saw Kartik and Naina sitting in Red Rose and Kartik offering his half-finished bottle of cold-drink to Naina. Before Naina had a chance to say yes or no, Sameer sprang up from his place and flicked the glass bottle to the floor. Shooting glares at both Naina and Kartik, he settled himself down in his place a minute later, as the rest of the audience looked on shocked. He took a sip of the Gold Spot he'd ordered, took a hasty sip, and then slid the bottle across the table for Sunaina to have. Sunaina balked, haven't liked what she'd just seen.
"Piyo! Sameer demanded of her in a mean voice. Frightened, she lifted the bottle. "Piyo na! he yelled again. Sunaina shuddered, but before the bottle could touch her lips, her bottle too crashed to the floor.
Sameer looked over at Naina, glowering at him in a rage, which matched his own.
"Kya problem hai tumhari? Dikhta nahi main aur Sunaina busy hain? Sameer hollered at her.
"Kartik aur main bhi busy the...tumhari himmat kaise huyi wo bottle todne ki? she spit in rage.
"Kartik! Kartik! Kartik! Uske alawa kuch dikhta nahi hai kya tumhe...dikhta nahi wo tumhe use kar raha hai mujhse badla lene ke liye! Sunaina tak pahunchne ke liye! he slammed.
"Toh karne do use...mujhe kar raha hai...tumhe kya...Kartik mujhe use kare na kare! Aur rahi baat tumhari aur is Sunaina ki to na hi mujhe na hi Kartik ko koi fark padta hai tum log jo bhi karo! Naina's eyes were glinting with anger.
"Shut up! he hurled at her, for he could think of no better answer.
"You shut-up! he received the blistering reply.
By now the entire canteen was stunned into silence. Naina and Sameer were fuming, looking daggers at each other.
"Ye jo bottles tum logon ne todi hai...iske paise kaun dega...aur ye canteen hai...ladai jhagde ka koi adda nahi...niklo bahar! the canteen owner boomed at them both, breaking the tense silence of the cafe.
"Tumhe hamesha tamasha banana hota hai sabka! Tum jaisa low class ladka maine apni life mein nahi dekha, Naina spewed at him and dashed out of the canteen in rage.
"Low class! Damn it! Itni himmat! he slammed the canteen door as he ran to catch up with her, hellbent on enlightening her on the definition of class.
They'd barely reached the lawns when Sameer caught her arm and turned her to face him. She yanked her arm from his hold, "how dare you touch me?
"How dare you call me low-class? he shouted.
"Kyunki tum ho low class! Sahi kaha tha tumne...Sameer naam hai tumhara...kabhi yahan...kabhi wahan...! she spat at him.
"Maan gaye tumko...kya natak kiya tha dil tootne ka! Tumko to actor hona chahiye! Salman Shahrukh sab fail hain tumhare aage! she clapped her hands, as her eyes bored into his.
"Next kiska number hai? Wo Dimple ka kya? Interested hai tum mein! she queried menacingly.
"Apni bakwas band karo! Tumhe kya pata dil aur uske tootne ke baare mein...kal main, fir Sharad...aur ab Kartik! Itna niche koi kaise gir sakta hai! Low class main nahi...low class tum ho, he clenched his teeth.
"Acha...niche main giri? Haath tum Sunaina ka pakdo...niche main giri...use...use kiss karo...aur niche main giri! Waah Sameer Maheshwari! Tumhara to jawab nahi! Naina spat at him.
"Apna na ye sachhai ka...aur sahi galat ka naatak band karo...tumne mujhe dhokha diya...mera dil toda...haath pakadne ke baare mein to tum mat hi sikhao mujhe...arey tumko to ek second nahi laga us Kartik ka haath pakadne mein...uski jhoothi cold drink pi li...aur kya kya kiya Naina? Mere saath to kuch nahi kiya tha? Lagta hai ladka-ladki ke beech kya hota tumhe badi akal aa gayi hai! he knew he'd hurt her as she looked at him revoltingly.
She chose to maintain her dignity and stormed out into the college gardens. The summer heat prickling their skin was nothing to the way his words had pricked her. But he wasn't done with her. He followed her, until he'd confronted her again. "Jawab nahi hai na? he dared to ask.
"Ladka-ladki ke beech kya hota hai wo tumhe aur Sunaina ko zyada pata hoga! Mujhe bas itna pata hai ki tum jaise ladke hote hi kameene hain!
"Acha aur tum tyaag ki devi ho? Pehle to bada pyaar barsati thi...man bhar gaya to Sameer bhaad mein jao...mujhe tumhari zarurat nahi! Pata bhi hai kaisa lagta hai jab dil tootata hai! Arey jao tum kya jaanogi! Tum to rangraliyan manao! Sameer squeaked.
"Bas ek lavz aur Sameer Maheshwari aur..! Naina started.
"...Aur...aur kya? Kya karogi tum? Mera jo bigadna tha bigad chuki...ab kisi aur ki zindagi to mat bigado!
"Maine tumhari zindagi bigadi? Kaise? Zara samjhana toh! Arey tumhe to khush hona chahiye na ki tumhe mujh jaisi boring, padhaku behenji se chutkara mil gaya! Yahi to chahiye tha na tumko...kaunsa tum mujhse pyaar karte the...wo to tumhe shart ka guilt tha na...isliye tumne mujhe haan karke mujhpe ehsaan kiya...isliye to mere ghar mein naukar ban ke aaye the na...sabke taane sunte the...kyunki main tumhare piche Day 1 se padi thi! Naina didn't realize her eyes had moistened, as her frustration and disappointment spurt out in her rage.
Sameer couldn't speak. He knew Naina had heard him talking to Sunaina that day. He knew he'd lied to Sunaina about Naina being the one after him just to gain her sympathy. He'd been satisfied to hurt her. But now he felt ashamed.
"Tum kya jaano dard kya hota hai Sameer! Dard wo hota hai jab aap us insaan ko kisi aur ke haathon me haath daalte dekho, jo kabhi aapke liye hua karte the! Dard wo hota hai jab aap uski aankhon me kisi aur ke liye wo pyaar dekho jo kabhi aapke liye jhalakta tha! Dard wo bebasi hai jo aapko pal pal yaad dilati hai ki aapki khud ki buzdili ki wajah se aapne us khaas insaan aur uspe se wo sare haq kho diye! Dard wo hota hai jab aap un insaan ke hoth kisi aur ke kareeb aate dekhte ho! With this, Naina burst into a slurry of tears.
"Maine use kiss nahi kiya! he stated blankly. Naina continued to wail.
"Tumne mujhe sirf isliye chod diya ki tum mein himmat nahi apni pyaar ko qubool karne ki...kabhi ek pal ke liye mere dil ke baare mein socha...meri feelings ka kya Naina? Hamesha se tum selfish rahi! Maine tumhari har baat maani...tumhe sar aankhon pe bithaya...aur tumne mere saath kya kiya? Mujhe ek bejaan laash bana ke chod diya! Socho Naina! Khud ko meri jagah rakh ke ek baar to dekho ki mujhpe kya beeti hogi...Til til karke marta raha hai...tadapta raha...duniya chod ke sanyas lene chala tha...shayad nas bhi kaat leta apni...kya karti tum...tab bhi wahi sochti jo tumne kiya wo sahi tha? Sameer questioned her, his own eyes misty now.
Naina had no answer.
"Meghaben ka qissa yaad hai na tumhe? Aur Shefali ka- Shefali ki to zindagi tumhare bhai ne ujaadi! Naina tumhe andaza bhi hai ki pyaar se khelna kya hota hai? Bharosa toot jata hai...tumhi ne kaha than a mujhe us din hospital mein! Ki tum meri wajah se kabhi pyaar pe bharosa nahi kar paogi...lekin maine apni galti maani...tumhara pyaar par vishwas fir jagaya! Aur badle mein tumne mujhe kya diya? Zindagi bhar ki saza?
"Agar main tumhare qareeb aata...tumko kiss karta...aur uske aage bhi...tum mujhe karne deti main jaanta hun...kyunki tumhe mujhpe pura bharosa tha Naina...tum jaanti thi main tumhara haath kabhi nahi chodunga! Aur agar main tumhara wo bharosa tod deta toh! Ek din college aake tumko kehta ki Naina! Bas bahot ho gaya! Maheshwari aur Agarwal ki shaadi nahi ho sakti. Hum bahot hi ameer, high class, status wale log hain, aur mere mama-mami-mummy sab kehte hain ki wo ek sadharan si, middle class ladki ko apne ghar ki bahu nahi banayenge. Aur agar maine tumse shaadi karne ki zidd ki to wo zeher kha ke apni jaan de denge. So jo hua so hua...mujhe bhul jao! Kaisa lagta tumhe Naina? Pyaar par se bharosa nahi toot jata tumhara? Bolo! Chup kyun ho! Tumhe nahi lagta maine sirf tumhara istemal kiya...agar main itna kayar tha ki mujh mein himmat hi nahi thi apne pyaar ko apnane ki to maine pyaar hi kyun kiya! Sameer vented out. "Theek vaisa...theek vaisa laga mujhe Naina...tumhare dhokhe se! Arey tum ek baar kehti na...to tumhare liye chand tare tod laata...ye gharwalon ko manana kya tha! Lekin tumne to faisla hi suna diya ki tumhare liye parivaar ke aage pyaar ki koi jagah nahi hai! Main sochta tha Ahemdabad aana meri zindagi ka sabse haseen ittefaq tha...par ab wo ittefaq zindagi bhar ke liye nasur ban gaya hai, to pal pal mujhe chubhta hai! Sameer concluded as Naina's stopped crying as his words hit reality.
He was right. She knew. He'd felt used. She'd destroyed him. What if he'd tried to give up his life? She'd been so busy worrying about her father and Chachaji that she'd taken Sameer for granted. She knew she could rely upon him, so she carelessly declared she was breaking up with him, not trying to understand his situation. Her father had never thought about her happiness, and yet here even when she'd betrayed Sameer, he'd been worried that Kartik was taking advantage of her, while he could've enjoyed the spectacle and later, smirked at her in an "I told you so manner. She'd known Sameer was strong. She hadn't feared for him, but she'd underestimated the impact her decision would have on him. He could be brave in front of the world, but he was the most vulnerable wherever she was concerned. He was right. He could've had had her and she wouldn't have said no. And after all these years, instead of her, if he'd declared he couldn't marry her due to family pressures, she and the rest of the world would've labeled him a cheat. He was ready to fight all, if only she'd given him a chance.
"Ab in baaton ka matlab nahi Sameer...ab tum Sunaina se pyaar karte ho! she declared amidst her sobs.
An odd silence prevailed between them. An understanding silence.
She felt his palm on her arm, a gentle caress, urging her to look his way. Their eyes met and they both burst into tears. Who initiated what didn't matter, for the next instant they were secured tight in each other's arms, reveling in the familiar warmth, the heady sensations. They took their fill of each other, as if a new life had been breathed in them. And then Sameer turned her face to look at her, "ab chod ke to nahi jaogi na? Main jaan de dunga is baar...sach keh raha hun!
"I'm sorry Sameer! Main sirf khud ke baare mein sochti rahi! Sameer...I love you...main bhi tumhare bina nahi jee sakti! she stammered.
His eyes bored into hers and hers responded. He stooped closer, not caring about the world, not caring if this bold for her. But she didn't hesitate. Distance from Sameer had only made her yearn for him more. And after Sunaina trying to lure him all this time, she was determined to claim her right on him, to pacify him that she'd won't let him go now. But before their lips could meet, she sensed his hesitation. She opened her eyes and Sameer asked meekly, "aur wo Kartik? Kya tum? She felt so relieved that she started grinning, "sudhar gaya hai...sirf Sunaina ko jealous karne ki koshish kar raha tha...aur...aur tumhe bhi! "Maan gaye...bevkoof nahi hai...bahot tadpaya hai usne aur tumne! he voiced, as he too smiled, relief writ across his face.
And then, their eyes closed and their lips pressed against each other, sealing the vow they'd made to each other, "Together...till death do us part!
