Have you ever felt that you are just too close to catch the train but missed it.
Finally after a long hiteus of 4 years she is coming back to tulsipur Calcutta..The place which she can say her in laws resides ..A place which is home to her due to the one person,barrister babu a.k.a anirudh babu who changed the course of her life 12 years ago,by marrying her,by scolding,teaching and moreover fighting for her education,her rights to the world, everyone even going against his family.Over the years he had become her protector,guardian,mentor,idol,guide,friend,best friend, confidante,and much more than that..Her love,her life,her soulmate,her peace.
The mere thought of meeting him ,seeing him in front of her caused butterflies in her stomache.
Finally the wait is over her tanga arrived at roy chaudhary's badi, her home,to meet her pati babu..As she entered she freshened up and visited temple light diya,folded her hands in front of durga maa's idol.as she is done with her prayers she heard,"aagayi bahu."Said her kaka sasur.she came forward and bend down to took his ashirwad.."jeeti raho. "Excitedly she enquired about som,batuk ,bihari kaka, baba and him. She is feeling ecastic to meet him,seeing her eyes looking upwards in studies direction.anirudh kaam se bahar gaya hai..Tum jao aaram karo..Safar se thak gayi hogi..Her face fell but she composed herself ,smiled at him and said okay.after all the greetings and round to the whole house,she settles herself on the couch in a study and looking at her barrister babu's picture..And smiling at his picture.
As if studying every little detail on his face.oh she so wanted to run and hug him..And be in his y arms forgetting all the other things..And shared her every single experience , thoughts moreover her feelings with him.as she was busy in her thoughts anirudh who just entered the study was quite surprised and happy to see his bondita back..yes His... Though She has transformed from little kid to a very elegant and beautiful woman,but there is one thing which is still the same that drives him towards her ,which he loved and adored about her, albeit he missed in the last 4 years 'the same excitement and innocent curious eyes and smile..ohh..How much he missed this innocent ,always curious,and chirpy bondita..His responsibility,his mentee,his partner in the progressive ventures,but mostly his friend ,and somehow become much more than that..He is still confuse as he can't named that feeling..But seeing her in front of him makes him feel too overwhelmed with so many emotions..So he ignored those bubble's and decided to meet her,so he called out her name .. bondita.. Startled by his voice..She turned and beamed with 1000vaults smile..This is it, it's the moment she thought..But unable to speak..Same was his case but he decided to break the ice so said..Safar kaisa tha..?Koi taqleef to nahi hui safar mein..? And all she said is nahi..Safar accha tha ,koi taqleef nahi hui..Aap ..Aap kaise hai..?ohh...She wanted to say so many things ,how much she missed him, touch his face,feel him close,and just hug him..But..Here she is standing asking his haalo hawal..?It's so difficult that someone you love is so close to you yet so far..Unable to take it anymore she just diverted the conversation towards the changes in the study..Trying to absorb indirectly changes in his life..And taking some more time to stare at him chupkese..
Where as anirudh also observing her felt bit stranged that she sudden off changed the topic..Well more than that change of conversation he felt strange about her expressions..But he ignored and answer her queries quietly..They could have talked for some more time but bihari kaka called out for dinner interrupting them..Both felt annoyed..Where as bondita knew the reason..anirudh was feeling all the more confused about his own reactions..As he to felt just like that song..Oh my beloved..You are too close yet so far..Why o why ..?Well that he will figure it out in the upcoming days..As his life is going to be turning over a new leaf in the upcoming days about which he was blissfully unawared.
