Raas Leela!!!
"Kanha!?... Kanha!?" Came a voice from inside as Yashoda maiya, a beautifully simple lady, wife of the chief of Gokul Nand baba, entered porch in search of her notorious, vibrant but cute son Krishna, who was missing since morning.
"Jiji aapne kanhaiye ko kahi dekha kya?" She asked Rohini, who returned from temple looking a little disturbed herself.
"Nahi. Main khud usse dhundh rahi hoon." She replied shaking head.
"He prabhu! Ab kya kar diya iss natkhat ne?" She asked concerned.
"Abhi kuch gopiya mili. Keh rahi thi, mukhiya ji ka lalla, sab ki matki fod ke chala gaya" she informed their complaint with a hint of amusement.
"Lalla..!!? Kanhaa!!?" Yashoda fed up of her son's antics, looked determined to teach him a lesson this time.
"Kanhaiyaaa!!!" Balram shouted from the dining area. Elder brother of Krishna was so caring and loved his younger brother more than anything in the world. But when it came to his food, he was of no one.
"Yeh tumne thik nahi Kiya" he mumbled to himself looking at all the empty pots of makkhan, which Kanha finished without him.
"Ab aana tum, main bhi tumhe nahi bachaunga!" He was just back from his morning exercise routine. Upset this time, Balram, the backup and any time savior of Krishna flared his nose at him.
The cows ran over the hills near the Yamuna river to rescue their owner friend Krishna, who after doing all the mischiefs, and making whole the village active, ran behind them grinning.
*
At the bank of Yamuna river, Kanha sat all smiles, playing the magic with his flute. Flowers shone more as the wind spread magistic fragrance and the music of bird chirps with joy. Cows grazed happily around and the climate turned peacefully gorgeous.
The notes of his flute played wonders, as like a spellbound, everyone around him gathered and stopped there, enjoying the bless.
"Krishna"
He opened his eyes to see a young girl, standing there breathing heavily from her run there, her eyes looked restless, a strand of hair flied on her forehead. She looked stunning in her simple ghaghra choli, flowers adorned accessories added to her beauty.
"Radhe..." He whispered, his smile widened as he got lost staring at her. Radha, daughter of chief of village Barsana, stared back at his big ocean blue eyes.
"Krishna" she called him again bringing him back to senses.
"Radhe" he responded back, his smile turned to grin.
"Krishna, tumne aisa Kyun kaha" she started
"Maine kya kaha?" He interrupted, standing up.
"Yehi ke"
"Kya" he moved towards her.
"Tumne Ayan se aisa Kyun kaha ke iss Sharad Purnima ko tum mere sath nrutya karoge?"
"Maine aisa kab kaha!?" He asked with mischievous smile.
"Ha to tummne nahi kaha iss gaav ki sarvashreshtha nrutya karne wali Kanya ke sath nrutya karoge?" She narrowed her eyes pointing a finger at him.
"To tumse kisne keh diya ke woh tum ho!?" He played raising his eyebrows
"Haww" her mouth left open in disbelief.
"Main apni premika ke saath nrutya karunga!" He came a step forward
"Sharad purima ki ratri ko apne Premi ke sath nrutya karne par unka Prem amar ho jata hai" he spoke in a soft husky voice bringing butterflies in her stomach. His voice was no less than the melodies he play in flute!
He winked at her stare and turned around playing his favourite tune which always leave her speechless.
*
"Arre waah! Kheer!!!" Excitedly Krishna moved inside when he got caught.
"Ouch!" He screamed in a soft pain as her mother twisted his ear.
"Woh matki kisne todi?" Yashoda maiya introspected as Rohini maiya stood beside folding hands in question.
"Maiya! Peeda ho rahi hai na!" He made such a cute face that no one can punish him.
"Kyun pareshan karte ho gopiyon ko?" His mother left his ear and asked holding him by elbow.
"Arre main thodi. Main nanha balak bhala aisa kuch kar sakta hoon?" And the prankster Krishna was back "woh gopiyaan hi aa jaati hai mere marg mein..." He made a puppy like face. His signature smile always melted hearts and saved him.
"Achha!?" Asked Balram dau, standing behind Rohini maiya
"Aur mera bhi sara Makhan kon kha gaya?" He asked holding his mother and resting his chin on her shoulder from back.
"Woh.. woh to Dau..." He fumbled a little and freed himself from maiya's hold
"Mujhe bhuk lagi thi..." He answered in not so convincing way and started running in angan.
"Ruk ja Kanha. Aaj to..." Balram started chasing behind him. The duo ran around in the whole home, playing and laughing.
"Maiya bachao" he tried to hide behind mothers as both of them also started chuckling, enjoying the blissful sight of lovely fight of brothers.

On the holy day of Sharad Punam, the villagers had the tradition to celebrate the festival with dance and music. Everyone gathered at the chowk.
Everyone, specially the youngsters looked forward for the day to dance with their special someone. Ayan, a childhood friend of Radha, was in a full plan to grab the opportunity to make it for Radha and him to dance together.
'Pata nahi, uski ki premika hai bhi ya nahi. Yeh Krishna, mayavi kuch bhi bolta rehta hai. Amar Prem? Prem jaisa kuch nahi hota. Sab jhuth hai...'
Radha was lost in her thoughts when she entered the venue. She had bright white and baby pink lehenga with yellow Chunar, and the same coloured accessories looking devine.
"Ohh, to tumhe lagta hai, ki tum hi Sabse accha nrutya kar sakte ho yaha?" Balram dau asked Ayan who boasted his talent for the perfect dancing techniques and mudras and all.
"Beshak. Balram, yaha mujse Uttam nrutya koi nahi kar sakta." He held his head high and flaring his chest pointed towards Dau. He saw Radha aimlessly staring at Krishna, who was teasing some gopis out there.
"Radha ke liye sabse uchit aur shreshtha Sathi main hi hoon" He declared glaring at Krishna.
"Nrutya ke liye!?" Dau asked, more to correct him.
"Haan. Woh hi" Ayan gritted his teeth at Dau's intentions.
"Esa hai to mukabla kar ke dekh lete hai... Fir Radha jiske sath chahe, uske sath hi nrutya karegi" Dau challenged him.
Ayan was sure, of everyone out there, Radha would only choose him, as he was her childhood best friend and the best dancer as well.
"Ho jaaye" Throwing a quick glance at Krishna, he accepted the offer.
All the people settled themselves to watch the show. Ayan and gang versus Balram dau and friends started the entertainment.
'Main iss mayavi Krishna ke sath to kabhi nrutya nahi karungi'' Radha thought, now getting a little jealous of those gopis who were enjoying his attention by teaching some basic dance steps.
Here, Ayan was showing some complicated dance moves while Dau had some funny fighting moves. Everyone enjoyed the funny show down, but Radha couldn't help but notice Krishna having his own alone enjoyment.
'Huhh. Mujhe kisi Ko aakarshit karne ke liye nrutya karne ki koi aavashyakta hi nahi'' her friends were also having fun and chatting, but her focus seem to have stuck somewhere else only. She walk passed near Krishna and those girls, but he didn't even spare a glance at her.
'Itna vyasta hai, ke ek Baar dekhne ki bhi fursat nahi!? Chhod, mujhe an kisi ke sath bhi nrutya hi nahi karna...' irritated she started leaving the ground.
The show down ended and the boys just got down from the stage for some rest, when Radha turned around but stopped middle way in her tracks.
The melodious tune blew the air and changed the whole atmosphere and mood in an instant. Krishna's flute played such a magic to captivate anyone's attention.
But Radha had some unknown attraction of his tunes, as it overwhelmed her heart with content and happiness and restlessness to see him, that she couldn't stop herself from getting influenced.
Her feet automatically turned and moved towards him, a broad smile shone upto her eyes, as Krishna walked up to stage playing his flute, his gaze fixed on her with the gorgeous smile adorning his face. That peacock feather danced with the wind to compliment yellow dhoti - pitambar he wore, looking perfect.
Leaving all the waving thoughts, jealousy or anger, Radha happily reached stage passing everyone and started dancing to his Devine tunes. Krishna changed notes and postures as she complimented his every beats with her moves. The audience looked awestruck at the blissful raas Leela of Radha Krishna themselves.
As if apologizing with his eyes, he cutely lengthened his hand for her to hold. She narrowed eyes, as if warning him to take care next time. He nodded with the brightest possible smile that melted her heart. She accepted his hand gleefully as the dhols banged the first beat and continued playing in full form. Radhakrishnan danced together forgetting the mortal earth - Prithvi lok.
Holding hands, matching dancing moves, jerks, swirls, Dandiya... And the feel was like, the stage has turned into the Gaulok. The full moon became the vitness of the day bliss of icons of love dancing together.
Other friends and families joined in the celebration of purity, celebration of dance, celebration of love!
Krishna stood in the centre playing flute on the flow of the highest notes and Radha merrily twirled around him all smiles. Dhols and flute stopped as Radha took the last round and stopped resting head on Kanha's shoulder.
Krishna smiled his signature smile and gracefully said, "Prem se bolo..." And raised one of his hand
"Radhey Radhey!
