Ronakshi OS : Inner Turmoil | KHKT | Kahan Hum Kahan Tum | Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum

Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum Update, February 21: Sonakshi gets to know ...
Overview of this OS: Pooja brought Rani home. Rohit learnt that Sonakshi took Pooja to Rani and rebuked her even though he knew Rani's truth (Episode 135).
This OS is on how they both feel after that argument and how they sort out the matter even without knowing what the actual matter is using one mantra - understanding each other's inner turmoil.
Inner Turmoil

Sonakshi was lying on the bed, alone in their room. She couldn't sleep at all, first turned on her right side, after a few minutes turned to lay on her back. She tried all postures, but sleep kept evading her. Finally she decided to get up and go up on the terrace. The anxiety and rush of emotions of past happenings were too much for her brain to calm down and sleep.

As she stood in the lift waiting for the floor desired, she couldn't stop herself from recalling what had been happening since the day she of her marriage. From Mahesh kidnapping her to forcing her to marry him, then Pooja's adoption truth coming out, to being blamed by her family of the leaking this news, and finally Rohit being upset with her for reuniting Pooja and her birth mother. Too many events for her to even grasp and understand now.

On top of all these that, Rohit had decided to sleep in the guest room because he wasn't pleased with her taking decisions affecting the entire family without consulting him. She couldn't seem to stop recollecting what Rohit told her. The number of questions in her mind increased every second.

"Why was it wrong for Pooja to know her birth mother? Why was he so upset? Why was he guarding this truth? Though I didn't expect Pooja to request Rani to stay with her in Sippy Mansion, but if this has happened, why would I regret the decision?" The more she thought, there arose more questions than answers.

Thankfully for her, it was past midnight, the mansion was silent and no one was around. Before going on the terrace she checked Rohit's room from outside. There were no lights switched on in the room, so she assumed that he was sleeping. It was perfect, right now she needed to be alone to assimilate what really happening. She reached the pool on the terrace, sat down near it and stared on the ripples in the water reflecting the moon's rays. Despite trying to configure the events, she couldn't figure out the answers to any of her questions.

Additionally, she was fed up of these past few days of arguments and pain right in the first week of her married life. And she knew that even Rohit would probably be feeling like her.  Was it going to be that easy for them to put these days in a corner and forget them? She didn't have any doubts in Rohit's feelings for her, she knew that he loved her even without the words. Yet, she knew that they still had a long way to go.

Lost in her own thoughts, she didn't realise for how long she sat there. Suddenly, she felt the presence of someone behind her.  Without turning, she knew it was Rohit.

"Rohit," she murmured.

"Kya hua Sona, tum yahaan kya kar rahi ho? Neend nahin aa rahi hai?", Rohit asked softly and sat down next to her. He himself couldn't sleep as he knew that he had put up an act of berating her because of the selfish motives of his bua. He was restless and wanted to confess to his Sona that Rani is just a puppet introduced by them to guard the crass and shady Naren's secret. But he was helpless, so he came there to atleast provide some comfort and warmth to her.

Sonakshi turned towards Rohit, looked at him carefully and couldn't stop herself from raising her hand to cup his face.  Her fingers slowly traced his face, his eyes, his nose. She wanted to memorize his face. She didn't know how he would react but she had to do this due to her insecurities of losing him as a result of her impulsive act.

"Uhh, Sona I know I'm very good looking and you can't keep your hands to yourself, but what if someone comes by...", Rohit gently teased her. When Sona realised what she had been doing, she blushed and immediately tried to pull her hand back, but this time Rohit was quicker. He held her hand and brought it back to his face.

He gently caressed her hand, her fingers and slowly entwined their fingers.

"I missed you so much", Sona said. Rohit had been so much lost in her hands when he heard those words. He himself didn't want to lose her but how was he going to explain to her his inner turmoil. He raised his eyes to hers, and said, " Even I missed you so much." There was so much pain in those simple words, that her eyes became teary.

Not being able to see her on the verge of a breakdown, he pulled her in his arms. He had really missed her, her scent, her touch, her presence. It was only that night they didn't talk to each other, but the unrest and turbulences in his heart made it feel like it has been years altogether of not being together. Now, the fact that he had her in his arms was so comforting, so peaceful. He gently caressed her hair and they looked at each other trying to understand their better half's inner chaos.

No one knew for how long they stayed like that, but after sometime Sonakshi managed to gather herself and calmed down.  She tried to break his hold on her, but Rohit's hands tightened on her.

"Don't move, don't leave me", Rohit said gently to her with insecurity filled in his breaking voice.  His chin on her head, her in his arms. What more could he want. Sonakshi had numerous questions now because she had thought that she was the one insecure that night but it now seemed to her that Rohit was more fragile. But she understood that he needed her to hear his speechless messages and decided not to burden him with questions. Instead, she chose to let him decide the direction Rani's matter would go from now onwards. "Better late than never...", she thought.

As she sensed the need in his words, Sonakshi leaned more into him and rested her face on his chest as if to say 'I am with you, ALWAYS'. The gentle beats of his heart was so soothing to her. Her eyelids started to feel heavy and soon sleep claimed her.

Rohit knew the exact moment she fell asleep in his arms. Her body completely relaxed against his. When she was relaxed, automatically he felt lighter. He gently took her in his arms and carried her to their room. He laid her on the bed and covered her with a duvet. She looked so angelic and so peaceful by his side.

He had so many things to say to her. He wanted to give her all the happiness, wanted to erase the previous week's events from both their memories, but he knew it wouldn't be that easy. If his dad's truth comes out, that day will always haunt them, even if reasons were justified, but something might break inside both of them.

To protect her, he had to contain this lie within himself but not compromise their relationship, their marriage and most importantly, their friendship. They still had a long way to go, and he promised himself that he'll start working on their relationship from that moment. He joined her on the bed and lay there just looking at her, till he fell asleep...
